Digital Social Media Analyst

Exigent is seeking to hire a Digital Social Media Analyst to join our team.

As a Digital Social Media Analyst with Exigent Services, LLC, you'll be part of a talented team that will support our Public Affairs, and Strategic Communication customer by developing and implementing communication strategies, processes, and products, with ongoing program evaluation and research to expand the implementation of practices.

You will:
  • Plan, create, and schedule content to increase engagement and ensure consistent brand messaging across platforms.
  • Media and Social Media Analysis: Collect and analyze statistical data from multimodal sources, including traditional and social media, using quantitative and qualitative methods. Deliver monthly reports featuring trends, tone, engagement, demographic insights, and thematic analysis.
  • Public Opinion and Trend Analysis: Evaluate public opinion polls (e.g., Gallup, Pew Research Center) and social media data to inform communication strategies, providing actionable insights in periodic reports.
  • Database and Platform Monitoring: Maintain a database of trends and analytics across DoD digital and social media platforms, ensuring accurate tracking of key performance indicators and audience metrics.
  • Social Media Solutions: Provide annual support for social media tools and solutions, offering recommendations to enhance performance and effectiveness across platforms.
You will have:
  • United States Citizenship; sponsorship is not available.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communication or a related field.
  • 5 years demonstrated strategic/tactical/media communication experience within the last 10 years.
  • Experience supporting the Army or Military operations.
    Fluency in the English language and ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • The ability to conduct research and analysis work on an Advanced level is required.
  • Must be proficient in manipulating a variety of the top industry platforms with sophisticated Boolean searches.
