As a defense mission professional, you understand the nuances of complex situations.
- Support the development and execution of US Cyber Command exercises, wargames, tabletop exercises (TTXs), and certification events to enable command readiness and training at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
- Design and execute strategic and operational level wargames for a range of internal and external participants from senior military leaders to action officers.
- Design, execute, and deliver cyber-based wargames, simulations, and tabletop exercises to test assumptions in a minimal-risk environment.
- Shape objectives, craft wargaming constructs, and scenarios, facilitate participant discussions, and author after-action reports and briefings.
- Consult on the application of and understanding of, and experience with, warfighting disciplines, COA analysis, strategy development, and organizational processes/procedures to craft wargames that allow participants to test assumptions and gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Support exercise planning following the Joint Exercise Lifecycle (JELC) and support exercise and wargame activities through advice on potential Cyber threat actors and their impact on military operations and government activities.
- Support the development of exercise intelligence products, including emulated finished products, tactical intelligence, and network artifacts.
- May provide leadership, coaching, and training in wargaming for more junior employees.
- An Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph -BA or BS degree
- Up to 5 years of experience leading, planning, organizing, and executing wargame activities.
- 10 years of U.S. Military or DoD experience.
- 1 year of experience analyzing intelligence.
- Experience with intelligence analysis or operational planning to include policy review and development at the Service.
- Component or Combatant Command level or equivalent experience within the intelligence community or interagency.
- Experience with DoD Joint Planning Process (JPP) and Joint Exercise Lifecycle (JELC) planning process.
- Experience with project management processes and principles -Experience with DoD and interagency partners.
- Experience facilitating wargames, developing data collection plans, and authoring after-action reports and associated analytic products.
- Ability to self-start and multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work quickly and flexibly in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
- Experience with working in a military staff environment
- Experience with briefing and delivering training to senior military and civilian leaders
- Knowledge of Cyberspace operations
