Exigent Services is pleased to hire a Jr. Operations Research Systems (ORSA) to support our Customer in Arlington, VA.

Jr. Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) Description Exigent Services supports Defense Suicide Prevention Office in establishing a framework for the Department’s portfolio of program for suicide prevention to best support the management of resources, analyzing cost, and supporting reporting requirements for executive decisions, DoD guidance, and congressional inquiries. Exigent Services provides planning and programming processes with highly specialized
data collection and analysis, product preparation, and participation to maximize organizational performance, to enable critical mission success.

The Jr. ORSA will:

• Access DoD, Service, and other Initiatives/ innovation resources and capabilities.
• Assist the government in creating /maturing initiatives to set stage for policy/ programs, synchronizing innovation efforts across the staff, sharing lessons learned, and facilitating concepts.
• Initiate, supervise, and/or develop requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs.
• Provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff.
• Provide detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues.
• Conduct development of costing models, statistics, and development of metrics / measures for comparative analysis.
• Consult with client to define needs or problems.
• Supervise studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
• Conduct the formulation and application of mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
• Collect, integrate, and analyze data and develop decision support products (which may include communicative products and hierarchical comparisons).
• Potentially develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation.

To be successful in this role, the Jr. ORSA will have:

• An Active U.S. DoD Issued Public Trust or higher Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, engineering, Operations Research, or economics a must
• Three years of experience in DoD or Military Service program, requirement formulation in PBBE / POM.
• Subject-Matter Expert level (SME) Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution and costing.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at time of application.
